A fully equipped lab, open to your parts
NUCAP's Research and Development centre is fully equipped to perform corrosion, shear, performance and durability tests of brake pads and other automotive parts. We also perform noise testing on our fully enclosed noise dyno. We have the necessary accreditations, trained personnel and equipment to perform these tests. If you need to test parts in a recognized lab, contact us with the necessary information and we will respond quickly with everything that you need.

Test capability
Brake pads and other automotive parts, measured rather than estimated.
- Cyclic corrosion exposure in a CCX chamber.
- Shear strength of the attachment between friction and plate.
- Performance and durability on an inertia brake dynamometer, replicating braking across a range of vehicles.
- Noise testing on a fully enclosed noise dyno.
- Specific gravity of friction material, a formulation consistency check.
